Riley Green’s Unreleased “I Let A Damn Good Woman Leave” Is Heartbreak Country Gold

Oh, go ON now.

Since day one, Riley Green has been rapidly climbing his way towards the top of the list when it comes to my favorite country artists. And since he teased an acoustic performance back in June of this year, “I Let A Damn Good Woman Leave” has been rapidly climbing towards the top of the list when it comes to my favorite Riley Green songs.

Co-written alongside Adam Hood and Brent Cobb, “I Let A Damn Good Woman Leave” has yet to be released, but one thing is for sure… the fans are patiently waiting for the day when it is.

“More than a time or two I’ve had one too many
I’ve blown a last chance more times than a few
Left a trail of bad decisions clear form here to Tennessee
The worst I ever did, I let a damn good woman leave.”

I was a little surprised that it didn’t make the new EP, If It Wasn’t For Trucks, along with another unreleased gem titled “That’s What I’ve Been Told,” but that just means Riley’s next full length album is going to be even better.
