Back in the day, I was a pretty big Oasis guy.
One of the premiere rock bands of the ’90s, I used to rent their CDs from the public library. And today, you’d be hard pressed to find someone that doesn’t remember them from those formidable years. Of course, you be even harder pressed to find someone that doesn’t at least know a few lines of their hit single “Wonderwall.”
I’m also pretty sure they’re still gods across the pond. My college roommate was English and played Oasis 24/7… literally. All hours of the day and night, it was non-stop Oasis. He absolutely ruined them for me… up until recently.
Anyways, Whiskey Myers just released a new acoustic performance of “Wonderwall” featuring percussionist Tony Kent on lead vocals and frontman Cody Cannon on acoustic guitar. And they absolutely CRUSHED it.
I mean, just listen to that crowd.
