Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood Officially Record “Shallow” For Garth’s Upcoming Album

It feels like Garth’s upcoming album FUN has been on the way for years now… and that’s because it has.

The initial pre-orders started back in June… of 2018, which means some folks paid for the record more than two years ago and still don’t have a copy of it.

But now, it appears as though Garth is still recording songs for it.

In a recent interview with People, Garth revealed that him and his wife Trisha Yearwood went back into the studio to record “Shallow,” the popular Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper song from A Star Is Born. The two performed the song on a livestream back in March, and after they received such a positive reaction, they knew they had to cut it.

The final tracklist on Garth’s upcoming album still hasn’t been revealed so we don’t know if it’ll make the album for sure, but Bradley did check out a Garth show while he was prepping for the role.

“He was neat… He kept talking about ear monitors, which was weird. I don’t know if it was already written in the movie or not, but he noticed I didn’t wear them, and I told him that the reason I didn’t wear them was I can’t hear them.”

And of course, he sent the girls into a frenzy. According to Trisha, when Bradley came backstage, the number of women suddenly multiplied:

“Every girl on the tour was suddenly backstage when Bradley came back.”

Brad will do that to ’em…

Here’s that acoustic performance from back in March.

But as beloved as Garth and Trisha are, I don’t think anyone will ever top the original.
