Neighbor Of The Year Builds COVID-Safe Beer & Candy Delivery System For Halloween

Say what you want about the times we’re living in right now, but difficulty and struggle always have bred innovation. And innovation breeds hope.

And sure, with Halloween right around the corner, we could just cancel everything… the costumes, the trick-or-treating, the fun. Or, we can choose to innovate.

And that’s exactly what Michigan-based Matt Thompson of Thompson Woodworks did. He rigged up this candy delivery system that allows kids and their parents to keep their distance while still enjoying the fun and the candy that Halloween was made for. Plus, there’s a couple cold ones for mom and dad.

“A little early but here’s my solution for a socially distanced Halloween. Yes, I asked my family and neighbors to dress up their kids for my silly video. They did get candy out of the deal.”

Get this man a medal… he just saved Halloween.
