Luke Combs Drops Flawless Acoustic Performance Of New Song “Without You”

Starting early, eh?

Yesterday, Luke Combs announced that he would be sharing new acoustic performances every Monday for the next 5 weeks, performances of the 5 new songs on his upcoming deluxe record, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get.

And while he said the first one would be at 7pm it appears as though they may have opted to drop it this morning.

Alongside guitar players Rowdy Rob and Tyler King, Luke delivered another impeccable acoustic performance of “Without You,” a heartfelt “thank you” to his parents, his wife, and the fans.

“My parents…we were very lower-middle class growing up and we didn’t get to do a lot of stuff. They worked their ass off for 40 years to buy me a guitar… they just did a lot for me and I’m just real thankful. There’s always people that I thought I owe all my successes to, people who turned me into the person I am so, I guess this song is kind of for them…”

The other new songs include the newly teased “Forever After All,” and two other brand new songs: “My Kinda Folk,” and one co-written with Jobe Fortner called “The Other Guy.” The other new song is titled “Cold As You,” which Luke has played before.

What You See Ain’t Always What You Get hits shelves on October 23rd.
