It’s happening, folks.
It’s really happening.
ESPN just confirmed that Big Ten football will resume the weekend of October 23-24.
WE NEEDED IT. And we got it. It just wasn’t the same watching football on Saturdays with no Big Ten games for me to bet on.
It appears they will go with an 8 game schedule, and the Big Ten Championship being December 19.
“Our focus with the Task Force over the last six weeks was to ensure the health and safety of our student-athletes. Our goal has always been to return to competition so all student-athletes can realize their dream of competing in the sports they love,” said Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren.
“We are incredibly grateful for the collaborative work that our Return to Competition Task Force have accomplished to ensure the health, safety and wellness of student-athletes, coaches and administrators.”
More details for scheduling, the playoff, etc when it becomes available.
LET’S F*CKING GO.
