And Luke Combs coming in from the rafters with a surprise collab.

Luke is gearing up to drop that deluxe album next month and we’ve done more than our fair share of guessing the tracklist, and so far with the songs that Luke has confirmed, it looks like I’m one for one.

Out this Friday, Luke will be releasing the emotional “Without You,” the first of five new songs from the deluxe album, and in my mind, there wasn’t any doubt that this one would be making the record. It’s a heartfelt “thank you” to all the people that helped get him to where he is today, AKA on top of the world.

“Wanted to share a clip of “Without You” with y’all. It’ll be available this Friday, Sep. 18. This song is for my parents, my wonderful wife Nicole Hocking, and the best fans in the world. Without y’all, I’d be nothing. Hope y’all love it.”

But here’s where Luke pulled that ace of spades out of his sleeve.

Joining him on the track is Amanda Shires… the talented singer, songwriter, fiddle player, member of The Highwomen, The 400 Unit, and wife of Jason Isbell.

“Honored to have the very talented Amanda Shires, who also plays with the 400 Unit and The Highwomen, on this song with me playing violin. She joined Rob and I for our performance of “Beautiful Crazy” last year at the ACM Awards.”

This definitely won’t suck.

Of course, if you remember back to the 2019 ACM Awards, Luke was joined by Amanda for his performance of “Beautiful Crazy.”

What You See Ain’t Always What You Get is set to hit shelves on October 23rd.
