In an effort to raise money for World Central Kitchen (donate here), Morgan Wallen partnered with Tito’s Vodka and chef David Fults to give a pondside acoustic performance of some of his biggest hits.
Morgan kicked the show off with an acoustic performance of his current single “More Than My Home Town,” his previous single “Chasin’ You,” and his brand new smash single “7 Summers.”
A few songs into the set the rain started falling but Morgan didn’t miss a beat. After relocating to a drier location, Morgan finished the set with performances of “You Make It Easy,” “Cover Me Up,” “Whiskey Glasses,” and “Tennessee Talkin’.”
Obviously, “Whiskey Glasses” is one of his biggest hits, his Jason Isbell cover of “Cover Me Up” is a fan favorite as well, but there’s something about Morgan Wallen’s acoustic music that really resonates with me.
It might just be that it sounds closer to traditional country, but either way, I think his fans are going to love this acoustic version of “7 Summers.”
