According to Billboard, the nominees for Entertainer of the Year – Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, and Thomas Rhett – “will be performing a medley of their greatest hits to kick off the show.”
I’m intrigued. Maybe Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett can dig back a few years to perform some of their better hits from years ago? Seems like a good idea.
*** Thomas Rhett has showed a lot of promise going back to that music lately (great news). And Luke Bryan’s “Build Me A Daddy” is one of his best releases in years. MORE OF THAT PLEASE.
Oh yeah, Taylor Swift is also returning to the ACMs stage for the first time in seven years.
Keith Urban will host the 55th ACM Awards which take place September 16 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
