You have my attention.

According to The Hollywood ReporterOscar-nominated Jessica Chastain is set to play Tammy Wynette is an upcoming miniseries about the life and love of George Jones and Tammy Wynette. Josh Brolin (who is an executive producer of the miniseries) was rumored to play George Jones, however that hasn’t been confirmed quite yet.

Titled George & Tammy, the new show will be released on Spectrum Originals and Paramount Network.

Created and written by Abe Sylvia, the story is based on the book The Three of Us: Growing Up with Tammy and George, written by the couple’s daughter, Georgette Jones.

“I am humbled to bring this incredible story to life with the breadth it deserves and that the Charter platforms allow,” said Abe Sylvia.  “Tammy Wynette is an American icon, and I can think of no one better to illuminate the woman behind the legend than Jessica Chastain. After having the honor of penning The Eyes of Tammy Faye for Freckle Films and Searchlight, I so look forward to another collaboration with her. This has indeed been a passion project for Andrew, Josh and me – and we are so grateful to our partners Katherine Pope, Keith Cox and David Glasser for tirelessly championing our labor of love.”

David Glasser, David Hutkin and Bob Yari of 101 Studios are also on board as executive producers of the show, and if you don’t know who that is, 101 Studios is responsible for the hit series Yellowstone, which is also on Paramount Network.

With actors like Chastain and Brolin (hopefully) in the mix, the people behind Yellowstone involved in the production, and a story as rich as that of George Jones and Tammy Wynette, how could this not be incredible?

Stay tuned.
