Riley Green Teams Ups With Alabama’s Randy Owen For “Better Than Me”

‘Bama boys.

Riley Green enlisted the help of Alabama’s Randy Owen for his newly-released studio version of “Better Than Me.”

Co-written alongside Ray Fulcher, the fellas from Muscadine Bloodline, and Jordan Fletcher, “Better Than Me” is the kind of song that happens when quarantine gives everybody a chance to slow down and reflect.

But more importantly, it gives us all a little bit of hope, taking solace in the fact there might be a bigger plan behind what’s happening right now.

“I’ve been chasing, rat racing, doing anything to win.
My grass looks like Augusta, I got around to painting that fence
Been calling up my mama, doin’ some old friend checking in,
It seem like where I’m going might be better than where I’ve been
With all this goin’ on, found the right in all this wrong and finally see,
the good Lord knows better than me.”

And when Randy’s verse comes in…..

WOOOOOWEEEEE.
