Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood Perform “Whiskey Lullaby,” “Remind Me” & More On The Grand Ole Opry

Brad and Carrie were back on the Opry stage last night, and for a moment, all was right in the world.

As much as this has been a shit year for live music, the Opry has remained a steadfast shining star, running once again for 4,940th consecutive Saturday night. So far this year, we’ve seen everybody from Vince Gill and Reba, Luke Combs and Craig Morgan, Blake & Gwen, to Ricky Skaggs, Margo Price, Ashley McBryde with Terri Clark and Lauren Alaina, Carly Pearce with Lee Brice and Michael Ray, and plenty more.

Carrie kicked the evening off with a spirited performance of “Jesus, Take The Wheel” before launching into hits like “Dirty Laundry” and “I Told You So.” Brad sang his new single “No I In Beer” along with a few other hits, but of course the highlight of the night was his duets with Carrie.

The duo performed “Whiskey Lullaby,” “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man,” and their 2011 hit “Remind Me,” before closing out the show with a duet of “Will The Circle Be Unbroken.”

“These times are so unique, and I find it so inspiring that the Opry is still going,” said Paisley before the final song. “When all is said and done, we will never take for granted getting to come out here and sing again. For me, as long as the Opry keeps going, I have hope.”
