The news of Chadwick Boseman’s passing has devastated the entire film community, the African American community, as well as movie fans in general.
A class act through and through, there’s no doubt about it, his legacy will continue to live on through the films he has made, the co-stars he’s influenced, and the fans he’s inspired.
The star of Black Panther, 42, Marshall, multiple Avengers films and Captain America: Civil War, among many others, lost a largely private 4-year battle with colon cancer this past Friday. He was just 43 years old.

In honor of his memory, Marvel Studios released a powerful new tribute video featuring behind the scenes footage, along with kind words from co-stars like Chris Evans, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Ryan Coogler, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and more.
Of course, many of his co-stars also shared heartfelt words on Twitter as well.
I’m absolutely devastated. This is beyond heartbreaking.
Chadwick was special. A true original. He was a deeply committed and constantly curious artist. He had so much amazing work still left to create. I’m endlessly grateful for our friendship. Rest in power, King💙 pic.twitter.com/oBERXlw66Z
