Mother Nature has a funny sense of humor.
According to West News, a Massachusetts couple was in the process of getting married when lightning struck across the lake from where they were about to exchange vows.
But it was what the groom said as the lightning was striking that left everybody laughing.
“Let’s face it, 2020 has not been the best year.”
Gee, ya think? Even the Earth is pissed off.
But also, why the hell is bride laughing so hard at that? I mean, she’s practically howling. It was more obvious than funny, and I know it’s your wedding day and all and you’re in a good mood, but good luck keeping that fake laugh up when his shitty dad jokes start kicking in after a few years.
An ominous start to a lifetime of happiness no doubt, best of luck to the happy couple. If this is any indication… they’re gonna need it.
