Blake Shelton Blown Away By Luke Combs’ Cover Of “Austin”

All time favorite Blake Shelton song?

GO.

Correct answer: “Austin”

Yep, Blake’s debut single from all the way back in 2001 when he was still rocking that glorious mullet probably set a bar for me that will be reached again. I don’t know if it’s the nostalgia or what, but when I hear “Austin,” ain’t nobody turning it off.

We’ve shared Luke’s knockout cover of “Austin” a handful of times, but tonight Blake shared it to his Facebook page with a more than appropriate caption:

“Damn Luke Combs!!!”

Which got me thinking… how great would a Luke Combs cover album be?

We got “Austin,” his cover of “Fast Car” that everybody loves, Ed Sheeran’s “Dive,” “Tennessee Whiskey,” and a ton more that would sound pretty damn good on a record.

All in favor?
