And they done did it.
Hardy is gearing up to launch his debut (maybe sophomore) studio album… honestly I don’t know if Hixtape Vol 1. one is considered a true debut studio album since it featured tons of collaborators, but either way, Hardy has a new record on the way.
Featuring the John Prine-inspired lead single “One Beer,” “Give Heaven Some Hell,” “Boots,” and “Boyfriend,” his upcoming album A Rock, has been exactly that… a lot of rock.
And this new one, “So Close” featuring Ashland Craft, continues to follow the early that 2000s punk rock-ish vibe that Hardy is cultivating on this new record.
A Rock is set to drop next Friday, September 4th.
I like that little “fuck yeah dude” at the end right there…
