Colter Wall Shares Another Taste Of New Record With Bunkhouse Performance Of “High & Mighty”

Loving these Bunkouse Sessions performances from Colter lately.

No bells, no whistles, just good old fashioned cowboy country music from an actual cowboy, filmed at an actual ranch. Does it get more country than that? I don’t think so…

In the latest episode of Colter’s Bunkhouse Sessions, he gives us a first look at “High & Mighty,” a track written by fellow Canadian songwriter Lewis Martin Pederson III. Colter has previously shared “Cowpoke,” “Diamond Joe,” “Rocky Mountain Rangers,” and “Houlihans At The Holiday Inn,” all of which will be featured on his upcoming album.

“This is a saddle bronc song written by Saskatchewan poet, songwriter, and cowboy Lewis Martin Pederson. The song comes from his 1975 LP entitled ‘Rodeo No. 1 Sport.’ Sure is a good one.”

Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs will hit shelves on August 28th.

Colter also recently received some love from podcast host, UFC commentator, standup comedian and hunting enthusiast, the powerful Joe Rogan, who after discovering his music called him “legit as fuck.”

Can’t argue with that.
