Luke Bryan & Darius Rucker Sing Brooks & Dunn’s “Neon Moon” At The Grand Ole Opry

Throughout the pandemic and the giant pause it has put on the live music world, the Opry has managed to be a rock, continuing to air full episodes every single Saturday night.

We’ve seen everybody from Vince Gill and Reba, Luke Combs and Craig Morgan, Blake & Gwen, to Ricky Skaggs, Margo Price, Ashley McBryde with Terri Clark and Lauren Alaina, Carly Pearce with Lee Brice and Michael Ray, and plenty more.

Last night, Luke Bryan and Darius shared the stage, and in addition to the songs you’d come to expect from them, the pair closed the night out with a duet of the Brooks & Dunn classic, “Neon Moon.”

Prior to the performance, Luke and Darius discussed not being on the road right now and how it has impacted their voices:

“My voice feels amazing, I’m ready for it to be tired again,” said Luke referring to getting back on the road.

“Our voices feel so good, let’s pretend liked we’re Ronnie Dunn for a second,” added Darius introducing their Brooks & Dunn cover.

Then Luke came back with the perfect response…

“They don’t feel that good.”

Ain’t that the damn truth. Nobody does it like Ronnie does.
