Josh Turner Performs Flawless Acoustic Cover Of John Anderson’s “I’ve Got It Made”

Josh Turner and an acoustic guitar… that’s all you really need.

For his upcoming covers/duets album, Country State Of Mind, Josh is tipping the cap to some of his country music heroes. We’re talking some hitters like Randy Travis, John Anderson, Johnny Cash, Vern Gosdin, Hank Williams and more.

“I’ve always said that any song you hear coming from my voice, you’re going to hear bits and pieces of those five guys… They taught me how to be Josh Turner.”

He even teamed up with the great John Anderson to cover John’s 1993 hit single “I’ve Got It Made.”

“He’s always been my hero. He’s been one of the greatest country vocal stylists that we’ve ever had in this business and he’s just a down to earth, genuine, honest guy… I’m proud to call him my friend. I’ve learned a lot from him and I just love the way he approaches a song whether he’s writing it or singing… and he’s one those guys that taught me how to be Josh Turner.”

And since it’s Wednesday, Josh is following up the release of the duet with a knockout acoustic version.

Country State Of Mind is set to hit shelves on August 28th.

Here’s the studio version featuring John Anderson himself.
