Josh Turner Teams Up With John Anderson For New “I’ve Got It Made” Duet

Can’t get enough of this new Josh Turner record.

For his upcoming covers/duets album, Country State Of Mind, Josh is paying tribute to some of his country music heroes, including Randy Travis, John Anderson, Johnny Cash, Vern Gosdin, Hank Williams and more. And in some cases, he’s even teaming up with them.

“I’ve always said that any song you hear coming from my voice, you’re going to hear bits and pieces of those five guys… They taught me how to be Josh Turner.”

We’ve heard his new one with Chris Janson, his flawless cover of Keith Whitley’s “I’m No Stranger To The Rain,” Vern Gosdin’s “I Can Tell By The Way You Dance,” and now, he’s teaming up with the great John Anderson to cover John’s 1993 hit single “I’ve Got It Made.”

“He’s always been my hero. He’s been one of the greatest country vocal stylists that we’ve ever had in this business and he’s just a down to earth, genuine, honest guy… I’m proud to call him my friend. I’ve learned a lot from him and I just love the way he approaches a song whether he’s writing it or singing… and he’s one those guys that taught me how to be Josh Turner.”

Country State Of Mind is set to hit shelves on August 28th.
