Please bow your heads in a moment of silence..
…..
Thank you.
According to USA Today, a semi-truck carrying 12,000 bottles of Templeton Rye whiskey overturned in a highway in Missouri last week. The truck, the whiskey, which was estimated to retail at about $325,000 dollars, everything… a total loss.
Templeton Rye co-founder Keith Kerkhoff shared his all too relatable thoughts on the matter:
“It makes you wonder: What else can go wrong in 2020? Thank God, nobody got hurt.”
2020: It sucks for you, sucks for me, and sucks for Templeton Rye. Processing manager Kevin Boersma also added that he’s never seen anything like this before:
“It’s definitely the strangest thing I’ve ever had happen with a truckload or shipment. You could see on the video that maybe some cases might have made it… but I haven’t heard anything official.”
It just breaks your heart…

Absolutely devastating.
In the words of Lainey Wilson, “what a waste of good whiskey.”
