In fact, according to various radio stations, it’s the cover for a new song called “Fool’s Love Affair,” which will officially be released on Wednesday, July 29th, although you may have heard it already on select radio stations. The song was recorded several years back, however it was never put out to the public.
July 29th also happens to mark the 35th anniversary of his first single, “On The Other Hand,” which eventually went on to become Randy’s first #1 single.
Last year, Randy released a couple previously recorded tracks, however “Fool’s Love Affair” will be Randy’s his first radio single since he suffered a stroke back in 2013.
Randy also recently recorded a new duet of “Forever And Ever Amen” for Josh Turner’s upcoming record Country State Of Mind, his first trip into the vocal booth since 2013.
