Reba To Stream Her 1994 ‘Reba Live’ Special For The First Time This Friday

If you don’t like Reba, we can’t be friends.

Having said that, the icon shared some great news today if you were looking for something to watch this Friday night as you get blind drunk on the couch.

Her 1994 Reba Live Thanksgiving special from the Omaha Civic Center will be available for streaming for the first time since it aired.

“This was one of my first big tours with all the dancers and costume changes, and it was my very first network television special,” Reba said.

“It’s so much fun to get to revisit it and share it with my fans all these years later! I hope they enjoy it and I can’t wait to share some stories from the behind the scenes during the chat.”

Here’s a teaser:

Filmed during Reba’s 1994 US tour, this live concert recording originally aired as a Thanksgiving special on NBC on November 25, 1994. The show features some of Reba’s biggest hits including “Fancy”, “Is There Life Out There”, “Walk On” and covers of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” and Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.” The show also features Reba as “Flucy” in a special Thanksgiving themed “I Love Lucy” spoof. This is the first time the show has been streamed since its original 1994 airing on NBC and subsequent commercial VHS release.
