NOOOOOO.

[deep breath]

NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

MAKE IT STOP. MAKE IT STOP. 2020 has damaged us enough.

A new story from Yahoo Sports, provided the depressing, but expected revelation. Even though it’s not official yet, all signs are pointing to no college football in the fall.

“Right now, I don’t see a path in the current environment to how we play,” a Power Five athletic director said.

“I’m confident we’ll get back to what we all think of as normal, but it may be a year before that happens.”

A year…maybe more?

Then the hammer from a high-ranking college official.

“Ultimately, no one is playing football in the fall.”

2020 the dumpster fire rolls on.

“It’s just a matter of how it unfolds. As soon one of the ‘autonomy five’ or Power Five conferences makes a decision, that’s going to end it.”

Welp. Stay tuned for any official word.

Here’s more from ESPN where SEC commissioner Greg Sankey labeled his concern for the 2020 college football season this fall as “high to very high.”
