Rocking his new curls, Morgan took to the stage at Kid Rock’s last week for a late night, surprise performance of “Cover Me Up,” an incredible song originally written and recorded by Jason Isbell.
Morgan recorded his own version of the song back in April of last year.
According to the guy that shot the video, it was at roughly 2 in the morning so can you imagine some beers had been had by then, however, Morgan stepped up to the dish and knocked it out of the park.
I’m sure patrons appreciated the impromptu performance.
Of course, Morgan was kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar and eventually arrested around Memorial Day, but no hard feelings, right?
Although, due to the Coronavirus spike, bars have since been shut down in Nashville and will remained closed for the next 2 weeks.
Looks like Morgan made his last trip count.
