The President was busy on the Twitter again this morning.
And the latest target of his ire? NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace.
President Trump called Wallace to “apologize” to his fellow drivers and NASCAR officials for supporting him during the noose incident “hoax,” as he put it. He also called into question NASCAR’s decision to ban the display of Confederate flags saying it has “caused the lowest ratings ever.”
Has @BubbaWallace apologized to all of those great NASCAR drivers & officials who came to his aid, stood by his side, & were willing to sacrifice everything for him, only to find out that the whole thing was just another HOAX? That & Flag decision has caused lowest ratings EVER!

Of course, other drivers continued to show their support for Bubba including 7-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson.

Bubba responded to the President this afternoon, encouraging people to respond to hate with love:
“Always deal with the hate being throw at you with LOVE! Love over hate every day. Love should come naturally as people are TAUGHT to hate. Even when it’s hate from POTUS…
Love wins.”

Tyler Reddick initially showed his support for Bubba against the President, but has since deleted his tweet.
The tweet from Reddick has now been deleted.
I speculate that @RCRracing had him delete it, which saddens me because it showed integrity and to me, was not political, just supportive of his friend. If RCR denies they had him delete it I’ll withdraw my speculation. pic.twitter.com/bLhmdJeHGh
