Fans Line The Streets As Police Escort Charlie Daniels’ Body To Funeral Home

Country music said goodbye to another icon today.

At the age of 83, Charlie Daniels passed away due to stroke.

The entire country music community has come together to show their love and appreciation for Charlie with various photos, thoughts and memories, but even the fans turned out today to show their support.

As the Mt. Juliet Police Department escorted Charlie’s body to Sellars Funeral Home, fans lined the streets to show their support. With heavy hearts many waved American flags as the motorcade pulled into the parking lot, some were crying, but everybody was feeling the emotions of the day.

John Prine, Kenny Rogers, Joe Diffie, and now Charlie Daniels, among others…. 2020 sure has been a tough year for country music.
