It is full blown “Karen” season.
And this latest one is GOLD.
It has all the things you’re looking for in a good Karen story. We have an older woman harassing young girls, we have a seemingly harmless act of picking berries, we have your run of the mill “go back to where you came from” racism, we have utter hypocrisy, and the cherry on top… some absolute lunatic behavior in the form of flailing about? I don’t even know what to call it but I laughed hysterically. You’ll know it when you see it.
But here’s the kicker… Karen wasn’t even born in the country (Canada) where the video takes place. Karen is an American telling Canadian-born girls (who appear to be non-white) to go back where they came from. When they said they were born here, watch Karen’s brain go right into the blender.
Isn’t that rich? Imagine having the kinda of nerve it takes to be that much of a hypocrite.
And all over something as insignificant as picking berries. My God, what a time to be alive…
