Billy Strings Will Melt Your Face Off Covering Jimi Hendrix With Umphrey’s McGee

Been loving me some Billy Strings lately.

The dude is insanely talented, and no doubt about it, he’s one of the best pickers in the game right now. He recently joined Tyler Childers at the Ryman this past February for a killer performance of Charlie Daniels’ “Trudy.”

But the other day, Billy released a video (also from back in February) where he joined Umphrey’s McGee in Asheville for a face-melting cover of “Voodoo Chile” by the legendary Jimi Hendrix.

If you’re a Hendrix fan, a Billy Strings fan, or just a fan of some damn good guitar playing, you’re going to love this.

Buckle up.
