In tumultuous times like these, we tend to looks towards those with influence for their thoughts on these important social issues. And while they probably do have an obligation to use their reach for good, many often choose to stay silent.
As for Dale Earnhardt Jr., he’s one to speak his mind.
Dale Jr. recently shared his thoughts on the recent George Floyd protests, endorsing NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick’s call for justice. Knowing full well that he would receive some criticism, Jr. applauded the young driver for taking a stand.
I want Tyler to be successful because he’s fun to watch. Now I see he’s also one that is willing to speak out on something he believes in. Good on you Tyler. You will receive both support and pushback. But I appreciate you, @tydillon, and others for speaking your mind. https://t.co/ee6RGf4lkd

This is true and I saw their messages. I expected nothing less from them. We need more speaking out. Tyler is a young rookie and I wanted to let him know that his words were important. Daniel and Bubba are already well aware of that.

He clarified even further calling for us all to “get this shit figured out and fix it.”
Seems some in my timeline are confused or curious. So let me be clear.
Black Lives Matter. They are hurting and upset and it’s time for me to listen.
Riots, violence, and looting is bad and needs to stop.
We all better get this shit figured out and fix it.
Love and Respect.
