Sara Evans & Adam Levine’s Cover Of “Leather & Lace” Is Still Fire

Stumbled across this one today, and hot damn it’s still fire.

“Leather and Lace”was originally written by Stevie Nicks for the Waylon Jennings and Jessie Colter 1981 record of the same name, however it never ended making the album. Later that year, Nicks then recorded it herself along with the Eagles’ Don Henley, for her album Bella Donna.

And then in 2008, for an episode of CMT Crossroads, Sara Evans and Adam Levine gave it the cover treatment and knocked it out of the park.

On every episode of CMT Crossroads, they always feature a cover and “Leather And Lace” was one helluva pick for these two. Their on-stage chemistry was absolutely undeniable, the harmonies together… they absolutely crushed it.

If you want to watch the whole episode (and in better quality) here ya go.
