Throughout time there have been moments where, no matter who you are, you remember where you were when history was made.
Often times they can be marked by tragedy, for example September 11th, 2001 is day that most people remember very vividly. Alan Jackson even wrote a song asking the question. But if you’re old enough, things like Moon Landing, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Y2K, etc… those massive turning points will forever be etched into our minds.
And for country music fans, one of those days is November 11th, 2014…. The day Garth Brooks made his Facebook debut.
I was stuck in a classroom, in an over-priced law school that I eventually dropped out of, but I would’ve given anything to be at this bar with all my friends, joining in the revelry to celebrate this moment in American history.
