Craig Morgan Brings Everybody To Tears With Opry Performance Of “The Father, My Son & The Holy Ghost”

Social distancing be dammed.

Last night, Craig Morgan took the Opry stage alongside Kellie Pickler and Christian contemporary singer Steven Curtis Chapman for a special Memorial Day Weekend edition of the Grand Ole Opry.

There is still no audience, and artists are spaced out enough to comply with social distancing recommendations, but that all went to hell after Craig delivered another chilling performance of “The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost.”

After the performance, which I’m still not sure how he can get through without turning into a puddle of tears, an emotional Kellie Pickler said: “I’m breaking the rules” and ran over to Craig to give him a hug. He husband Kyle, who was accompanying her from behind the piano, got up to do the same. And finally, Steve Curtis Chapman who also tragically lost a daughter back in 2008, was rubbing his eyes as well.

“I think my eyelash is still glued on, I don’t know,” she added before her follow up performance.
