Titled “Watch The World Die,” it hits uncomfortably close to home given the uncertain times that we’re living in right now. However, it also leaves us with the optimistic reminder that love is what will get us all through anything… even the end of the world.
The apocalyptic energy of the verse is juxtaposed with the hope found in the chorus:
“We can make love as we watch the world die baby,
in the morning if it’s just the two of us, we know we’ve done it right
