Tracy Lawrence Takes You Back To 2003 With Acoustic Performance Of “Paint Me A Birmingham”

On my short list of great, great country songs, “Paint Me A Birmingham” is right up there near the top.

Written by Buck Moore and Gary Duffy, it hit the country charts in 2003, but it was sort of a resurgence for Tracy who found his first radio hit since the ’90s. But radio number aside, it’s just a damn good country song, classic country heartbreak at its finest.

Tracy got the boys together a nice livestream performance the other day, one from the man cave as he called it, and damn if it doesn’t take you right back t the early 2000s, before all this Coronavirus bullshit was going on.

Enjoy.
