Channing Tatum, Mattthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, all playing male strippers… there was plenty of eye candy to go around for the ladies, but regardless, McConaughey’s character Dallas was one of his most interesting.
A grizzled veteran stripper-turned-manager, that was really into UFOs. That was all McConaughey needed to hear to accept the role over the phone. And not only that, the role was just flat out fun.
“All those guys were great to work with. There was ZERO ego in the making of that film, with all that testosterone, everybody, we had such a damn good time. There was so much laughter and support and good ideas coming from everybody… I miss Dallas.”
