Josh Turner Honors Randy Travis With Cover Of “Forever And Ever Amen”

Love me some Randy Travis.

Josh has been sharing some covers recently, tipping the cap to those on his Mount Rushmore of Country Music, and today he added the great Randy Travis to the list alongside John Anderson and Vern Gosdin.

Randy has one of the most iconic voices in all of country music, and for Josh (whose own voice is one of my favorites), Randy was more than just an inspiration and a role model, he was the reason Josh moved to Nashville.

“Continuing with my Mount Rushmore of Country Music I’m gonna focus on Randy Travis right now and what more can I say about Randy Travis other than he’s a living legend, and icon, one of my big heroes, he’s the reason I moved to Nashville. I’m indebted to him for all he’s taught and all he’s continuing to teach me.”

I keep saying it, and I’ll continue to say it until I’m blue in the face, but this is exactly what country music is missing right now.
