Every so often you’re browsing the interwebs and simply by a pure accident, you strike gold. Tonight was one of those times.
Somewhere in the neighborhood of late 2015/early 2016, probably right after his stint on The Voice, Morgan Wallen recorded what appears to be hotel-room cover of the 2015 Justin Bieber hit “Sorry.” Maybe it’s not a hotel, but it kind of looks like one. Doesn’t matter…
Fresh-faced and rocking a pre-mullet flow, it’s almost hard to even recognize him. My wife said: “Are you sure that’s even him? It looks like one of the Hanson brothers.”
Time flies, doesn’t it?
And now here we are in 2020 and Morgan Wallen is one of the fastest rising artists in country music, right up there with Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde and Riley Green in the next generation of country superstars.
I have a hunch the ladies are going to love this.
