Luke Combs Performs “Six Feet Apart” At The Opry, Previews Another Brand New Song

What a night at the Grand Ole Opry.

Even though concerts have been canceled across the world, the Grand Ole Opry has continued to air live every Saturday night. Of course, there is no audience, and artists are doing their best to keep their distance outside of that iconic circle, but regardless, we’ve seen some great performances from artists like Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley and more.

And tonight, Luke Combs took the stage with Craig Morgan, after a pretty kickass intro from Old Crow Medicine Show and Charlie Worsham.

He performed some of his usual hits and then gave Craig a snippet of a brand new song that might be called “Cold As You.” Craig debuted a new one too that he said was inspired by Luke’s buddy Ed Sheeran.

After Luke and Craig traded snippets of new stuff, Luke hit the fans with the talk of the town right now, his emotional new song about everything that’s going on in the world right now.

“I been home like all you guys have and everyday is different and the same at the same time. Sometimes I’m in a great mood and sometimes I’m not… and I decided to write a song about all this stuff. I wrote it last week, it’s called ‘Six Feet Apart.”

And the good news, Luke already got in the studio and recorded it. It will be out next Friday, May 1st.
