Luke Combs Debuts Emotional New Song About Life In Quarantine, “Six Feet Apart”

Hot off the press.

On tonight’s livestream, after hammering out a few technical difficulties with the sound, Luke debuted a brand new one that he just wrote yesterday.

Co-written with Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder, “Six Feet Apart” is about being stuck in quarantine. But if you’re thinking it’s a fun song about drinking all day in sweatpants, not shaving for weeks, and binge-watching the Tiger King, guess again.

It’s actually a heartfelt and encouraging song about missing all the things that used to be a part of everyday life. The things that we all probably took for granted before this whole mess got started.

“I’m gonna play a song I wrote yesterday. I wrote this with Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder, two awesome guys… I might mess this up really bad, I don’t know, I’ve been practicing it all day but I’m kinda nervous about it to be honest. So, I hope you guys like it.”

I can’t imagine this one will ever make an album, but if Luke wanted to get in the home studio with it, I think I can speak for everybody when I say, YES PLEASE.
