Luke Combs Covers Carly Pearce & Lee Brice’s “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” Which He Co-Wrote

A man with his mouth open

Carly Pearce and Lee Brice have themselves a hit single with “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” which just cracked the Top 10.

“Woke up to the best news…. something I haven’t been able to say since 2017…. MY SINGLE IS OFFICIALLY TOP 10! Y’all, I wish I could put into words what this means to me. This song is straight out of my own story of lessons, just like “Every Little Thing” was. There’s beauty in every “hard time”. THANK YOU for this- here we go @leebrice ! 💔🍾🎉 (side note: YES TO 3 FEMALES IN THE TOP 10!!! @gabbybarrett_ @ingridandress 💪🏼)”

Back in December, we made the duet (written by Pearce, Luke Combs, Jonathan Singleton and Randy Montana) the Song of the Week.

To celebrate the Top 10 status, Combs posted a cover on his TikTok.

@lukecombsCongrats @carlypearceofficial! Officially Top 10 on country radio. Pumped to have written this song with you! ##WriteTheLyrics ##HappyAtHome ##ForYou
