As much as this quarantine has sucked a big bag of donkey balls, you can’t help but love the way artists are using this opportunity to share new music.
Sure concerts and festivals are canceled, but we’re seeing live-stream performances of songs we would never normally see, we’re getting performances of old demos and unreleased songs, and then in case of folks like Koe Wetzel, surprise cuts dropping out of nowhere.
And next Friday, we’re getting the fan favorite, “More Than My Hometown,” from Morgan Wallen.
Maybe Morgan has had this one on the calendar for a while now, maybe he didn’t, but either way, we need to keep the new music coming. It’s the only way we’re going to all survive this thing.
Next Friday people. Get ready.
Here’s an acoustic preview.
