Gone, but he will never be forgotten.

As the world mourns the loss of the legendary John Prine, artists have begun sharing just what he meant to them and the music world as a whole.

Miranda Lambert loved John, sharing the following photo of the two after his passing..

💔thank you for everything. One and only. #hellointhere #johnprine

She shared some details about her fire pit where she had Prine’s words engraved on her Instagram Story.

A video also surfaced of Miranda Lambert singing “Angel From Montgomery” next to what appears to be that same fire pit. According to the Twitter user, the video was potentially taken around July.

Regardless, you can’t help but love seeing one of the best in country music honoring one of the greatest writers to ever do it.

All the way back in 2009, Miranda did a full cover at one of her shows.
