As a Chicago Bears fan, I don’t have much room to talk, but holy hell what are the Falcons doing lately?
First you shit the bed in 2017 with a historic collapse, dropping a 28-3 lead to lose the Super Bowl. Then, you put a Chick-fil-A in your fancy new stadium, except it’s not even open on Sundays, you know, when you play football. Back-to-back losing seasons and now we have this?
The Atlanta Falcons unveiled their new uniforms this morning, their first change in 17 years, and umm… football fans, and even Falcons fans, had some “thoughts.”
Yeesh…
They got ROASTED in the comments section, and there seemed to be one particular theme, specifically related to that God-awful red gradient jersey…
And shocker… Twitter didn’t hold anything back.
Great the Falcons look like an XFL team. Will I ever see an Atlanta team with good jerseys in my life? (Braves Excluded)

Look like an arena league team

These look like arena league uniforms. Terrible

Look like the CFL team in Ottawa

Y’all had to go pretty far out of your way to mess up this badly. The arena league stripe, the XFL gradient, the comically oversized font and drop shadow in the year 2020. Embarrassing.

I rate it a 3/28

And for the dagger, the Carolina Panthers jumped in. Ouch…
Season hasn’t even started yet and they’re already taking an L.
But hey, at least Matt Ryan seems to like them… or at least the black one.
“There’s just a feeling to it. I can’t explain it when you look in your locker and that color and head to toe in black is going to be good, too. I don’t know what it is, but I know there’s a feeling that comes with it for the guys, too, when we see that in our lockers.”
Gonna be a long year…
