Cody Jinks Drops “Fast Lane,” An Unreleased Track Recorded For ‘Adobe Sessions’ Album

Last week, we shared a newly-released acoustic demo version of “Never Alone, Always Lonely,” a track from Cody’s most recent The Wanting record, but for Jinks fans, there was even more…

Originally recorded for Cody’s stellar Adobe Sessions album, “Fast Lane” was a song that unfortunately never made the cut. However, Cody has since released it to the masses, an unexpected gift during these tough times.

While we’re all on lockdown right now, practicing social distancing and waiting out this awful pandemic, new music is definitely going to be what gets many of through this. And while this song isn’t technically “new,” it’s a new version that we haven’t heard before, and that’s good enough for me. Adobe Sessions was my introduction to Cody Jinks and still one of my all-time favorite records.

Cody shared the following on Facebook of the newly-released track:

“New song has been released… “Fast Lane” – We recorded this for the Adobe Sessions Album, but it ended up not making it.”

Thank you Cody, we needed this.
