You’ve never seen “Something Like That” quite like this.
During FOX’s iHeart Living Room Concert for America on Sunday night, Tim McGraw got casual by his backyard lake pool to give us a deconstructed performance of his 90’s classic.
Obviously, all things considered, not the best version of this song we’ve ever heard, but pretty cool for Tim to do it. In the end, they made it work.
Not sure how they decided on the look of this video, but I imagine it went something like this:
“Tim – let’s wear the beanie. Gotta wear the beanie, I don’t give a flying fuck if it’s 60 out. Let’s wear a button-up, but one where you can still tell you’re shredded, without looking like you’re trying to show people you’re shredded. With everyone miserable at home, let’s maybe have you straddle the diving board by your pool which is bigger than the houses of most people watching this. Cool?”
