Remember When Joe Diffie Performed With Travis Tritt, Waylon Jennings, & Steve Wariner?

We lost a legend today.

As someone that grew up on ’90s country music, Joe Diffie will always hold a special place in my heart. With his catalog of incredible songs, and of course one of the most iconic mullets in all of country music history, Joe Diffie’s legacy will live on forever.

So in honor of the great Joe Diffie, here’s some great footage from the Grand Ole Opry, way back in 1997.

You have Joe Diffie singing his hit single “John Deere Green,” Travis Tritt and Waylon Jennings delivering a once in a lifetime duet of “Where Corn Don’t Grow,” Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner teaming up for the George Jones classic “She Thinks I Still Care,” and finally,  Travis Tritt bringing the heat with a cover of Johnny Cash’s “I Walk the Line.”

An an absolute all-star cast sharing that Grand Ole Opry stage, and I can only hope that Joe and Waylon are up there right now together, picking some guitars and singing some country songs.

Here’s to you Joe, we miss you already.

RIP Pickup Man.
