BREAKING: Joe Diffie Has Passed Away From Complications Of Coronavirus

This is absolutely devastating.

According to a press release, Joe Diffie has passed away from complications of Coronavirus. He was 61 years old.

On Friday, Joe released a statement regarding his diagnosis, however at the time, there was no indication that he was in life-threatening condition.

“I am under the care of medical professionals and currently receiving treatment.”

“My family and I are asking for privacy at this time. We want to remind the public and all my fans to be vigilant, cautious and careful during this pandemic.”

Joe Diffie is best-known for his ’90s country hits including “John Deere Green,” “Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox (If I Die),” “Pickup Man,” and more.

He is survived by five children and wife Tara.
