Tyler Childers’ Karaoke Performance Of Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” Is The Best Thing You’ll See All Day

If you’ve ever been to downtown Nashville, you’ve probably stumbled your way over to Printer’s Alley, and if you’ve stumbled your way over to Printer’s Alley, you’ve inevitably stumbled your way down the stairs and into Ms. Kelli’s Karaoke Bar, and if you’ve stumbled your way down the stairs and into Ms. Kelli’s Karaoke Bar, you might’ve even mustered up enough liquid courage to take the stage and sing a song for your adoring new fans.

And if you have, you have something in common with Tyler Childers.

It seems like this glorious performance might’ve occurred on or somewhere near the same day that Tyler filmed the “All Your’n” video, as he was in his “Shady Boggs” character and appears to be sportin’ a little bit of Tammy Chiggers’ eyeliner. Either way, I would’ve paid good money to be in that bar for this.

Shady delivered an absolutely Earth-shattering performance of Keith Whitley’s 1988 hit “Don’t Close Your Eyes.” If you look up “Earth-shattering” in the dictionary, you’ll find this performance.

Also, some A+ camera work right there. Zooming in, zooming out, really capturing all of that Shady Boggs emotion.

And once again, if you’re not familiar with the Shady Boggs saga, here ya go.
