Country Music lost a legend last week.
Plenty of artists took to social media to honor the late great Kenny Rogers, some even delivering heartfelt tribute performances in his honor. Jake Owen performed “She Believes In Me” and Brad Paisley, Vince Gill and Marty Stuart all paid tribute to Kenny with their performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
Carrie Underwood shared a throwback photo from all the way back in 2006 when she performed alongside Kenny at tribute concert honoring Dolly Parton. Just a year after winning American Idol, Carrie was already performing alongside a legend, and honoring another.
The two performed “Islands In The Stream,” the 1983 CLASSIC originally recorded by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
